North African Lop-eared
This breed is known to be the smallest indigenous goat breed in Egypt. It has small head, straight facial profile, medium-length drooping ears and long hair coat.It is used for meat, milk and hair. Its appearance is generally similar to the Libyan goat found across the border in Libya.
This breed is mainly found in the Matrough governorate of north-western Egypt, including the adjoining coastal areas.
